Reviews
AllMusic Review by Kingsley Marshall:

Burnt Friedman quickly follows his Con Ritmo album with a second full-length that bundles tracks from his Love Songs EP onto a CD with a scattering of new material. Although the Henry Lee Lucas vocals on "Sex Is Not Right" and the dirty talk of "Sex Working Class" push the idea of a love song to tenuous lengths, the album plays host to some of Friedman's most accessible material to date and reaffirms his position as a producer to watch. The vocoder sounds of "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" are a delight, while Black Sifichi's vocal turns "Tongs of Love" into an edgy piece, begging for visual accompaniment.
